White Peach Pottery’s review of Ceremony Coffee’s Antithesis blend.

I like to brew my coffee as espresso and then taste it as both a double shot, an Americano, and as a latte. ‘Antithesis’ is one of my go-to coffees when I haven’t ordered any new and exciting blends to try out in my machine!

Where to Buy
: Ceremony Coffee Roasters. The roaster is based in Annapolis, MD, with several coffee shop locations around Maryland and DC.

Aroma/Fragrance: Caramelized sugar, raw cocoa, toasted nuts, and oak.

Flavor Profile: A balanced cup; flavors I’m picking up are: sourdough bread, toffee, dark chocolate, with a natural sweetness. Blends beautifully with milk to create the perfect after dinner latte.

Brightness: Medium.

Body: Very rich and smooth!

Finish: A classic “coffee” flavor, dark and a little bit acidic.

Final Verdict: As I said above, this coffee is my go-to local purchase when I’ve forgotten to order a new blend to try. I come back to it again and again because it’s available at my local Whole Foods, always freshly roasted, and it’s a classic, crowd-pleasing coffee.
