What a delicious blend for espresso! This cup is very well balanced, with just enough acidity and depth. I highly recommend it.

Where to Buy: Pitango Gelato, in Washington DC

Aroma/Fragrance: Cocoa, Butter, and Sea Salt - like an artisan chocolate chip cookie! A teeny bit of woodsy scent underneath (cedar?), and a touch of grapes!

Flavor Profile: A very nicely balanced cup, Coffee can often be too dark or too bright, but this cup is both, in equal proportion. I taste the darkness, but the bean is shining through with beautiful flavors. Those flavors are: cookies, cookies cookies! It tastes similar to how it smelled - caramelized sugar, dark chocolate, baked goods, and a touch of sea salt (it's not salty though, to clarify).

Brightness: Medium; especially bright on the back of the throat as it cools.

Body: Heavy and smooth. Almost syrupy on the tongue

Finish: Toasty - like sweet, baked bread.

Final Verdict: I totally love this blend. A friend of mine got it for me at Pitango Gelato, on Capital Hill, and I'm so glad that she did! 10/10 would buy and relish again.
